Software City Networking Event
An introduction from Steve Smith:
Dear Software City supporter
I am writing to let you know of some important developments relevant to those operating in or advising within the region's IT community.
Strategic changes relating to the wider city region and its funding structures mean that as a brand, Merseyside ICT no longer exists. With robust support from my colleagues at Liverpool Vision, AFM and The Mersey Partnership I remain the Sector Director of the Liverpool City Region with strengthened ties to the North West of England and will continue to be responsible for and firmly committed to promoting the interests of technology businesses in the region, working with them to source funding, support and creating world class investment and networking related events.
Despite the current climate the sector is still very active and there remain significant exciting opportunities for businesses within the region and those relocating here.
Software City was a great success last year and will be taking place in November this year. There are a number of training initiatives and international trade and investment missions also planned over the next few months which we will publicise as they develop.
We are mindful that many of you have not had the opportunity to get together for a while since Software City and thought you may benefit from and enjoy an informal networking event taking place at 6pm on Thursday 14th May at the Radisson SAS Liverpool. You are warmly invited to join me and meet, mingle and catch up with individuals, businesses and other organisations close to the technology sector in the region. It should be a relaxed and interesting evening which will give you the chance to hear of the latest developments in the region which may be valuable to the growth of your business. Liverpool Vision and Grant Thornton are kindly supporting the event.
Drinks and canapés will be provided. The event is free of charge to business leaders, financiers and investors.
Places are limited. To reserve yours please email: events@mmcomms.uk.com
