Alliance Fund Managers - Cont.

The MSIF Funds managed by AFM comprise public and private sector investment. The £56m European Regional Development Fund element has been fully invested and the earlier Mezzanine and Small Firms Funds have fully repaid all facilities and are now making distributions from profit to all investors including MSIF.

MSIF’s Venture Fund has successfully exited on a number of earlier investments and its current portfolio includes a number of quality companies which are expected to make healthy returns to the Fund during the course of the next few years.

It is anticipated that the portfolio created through the MSIF Liverpool Seed Fund which was launched in 2005, will begin to make returns over the course of the next two to five years.
