Northwest Small Loans for Business Fund
The Northwest Small Loans for Business Fund provides loans from £3k to £50k to SMEs across the North West. AFM manages investments for the Merseyside region (Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral) where the total amount available for investment is Merseyside is £3.6m. This money is funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the NWDA.
Businesses, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies can apply. The money can be used to assist with start ups, spin outs, early stage, growth and expansions. There are some restrictions on sectors. Applicants will need to provide a detailed business plan and be able to demonstrate their ability to repay the loan.
