MSIF Venture Fund
The MSIF Venture Fund provides equity investments of up to £3m. These investments involve taking a minority stake in the business and come alongside a range of benefits designed to add value to the business and provide specialist support to the management team to help the business progress.
Equity investments are often made in companies with strong growth potential where the funding required to develop and expand the business is either not available or not appropriate through conventional bank lending.
Venture and Mezzanine investments can combine to create a total MSIF package of £4m although they can also invest in much larger transactions alongside other finance providers.
The Venture Fund only invests in limited companies.
